Following a "rigorous" three-way pitch, Cogent Elliott has been appointed as the lead global digital agency for Triumph Motorcycles Limited.

Cogent Elliott secured lead agency status for creative development and brand strategy for the iconic British brand in global markets earlier this year, creating an international launch programme for the much anticipated Thunderbird model.

Cogent has now secured this digital win.

Cogent’s head of digital Dan Burman commented: “Triumph’s products are truly stunning and it’s imperative that this is bought to life on their websites. A configurator, dynamic route planner and a host of rich media content will ensure the site delivers a captivating brand experience in all markets. We look forward to working in partnership with the team at Triumph, and with all their Subsidiaries, Distributors and Dealers across the world, to support the continued growth of the business.”

The new websites will carry content in nine different languages, managed and developed within Cogent utilising their experienced global content delivery team.

Speaking about the appointment, Patrick Marcus, Triumph’s international digital marketing manager commented: “We are delighted to be deepening our relationship with Cogent Elliott. Cogent’s experience in delivering global digital solutions for other brands is of tremendous value and gives us the confidence to become ever more ambitious, on-line. In choosing Cogent to provide digital services to Triumph we can now be sure of delivering a consistent message across all media, in all markets and through all channels. Above all the agencies pitching for the business, Cogent recognised the unlimited potential with Triumph for global digital domination of the Bike market.”
