Costcutter enlists Mezzo and Gough for new ad

Convenience store chain Costcutter has worked with Mezzo Films to produce its new national TV campaign featuring former cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing star Darren

More in keeping with his moves on the Strictly dancefloor than the crease, the ad shows the former England bowler highlighting product offers and the chain's "local value" proposition as he dances around a store.

Mark Platts, executive producer and director at Leeds-based Mezzo, said: "It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Darren on Costcutter’s campaign. His individual character really shines through which helps celebrate Costcutter’s key brand attributes for fresh local value, service and quality."
