A campaign from the Scottish Government urging Scots to switch off appliances at the wall to save money during the night has been created by Newhaven.

The campaign, featuring regular character Mr Earth, highlights that electronic appliances left on standby mode continue to cost money and contributes to climate change.

The TV ad features focuses on how easy it is to save up to 8% on an electricity bill and help the environment.

A 10” cutdown will air between 10pm and midnight, acting as a reminder to switch off before you go to bed.

The campaign was created and directed by Newhaven’s Chris Watson and Rufus Wedderburn and produced by MTP.

The TV campaign will be supported by outdoor, transvisions and radio.
