The Marketing Industry Network will tomorrow host a brainstorm session which will examine the fundamentals of creative thinking and teach a variety of techniques for its use.

The day-long session has been designed to appeal to account directors, creative directors and planners and teach how to get the most out of a brain storming session including how to get into the correct mindset, looking at different mindsets and the use of brain exercises.

Katrina Michel, co-owner of strategy and research company Planning Express will host the event which will consist of two parts.

Part One will look at the fundamentals of thinking creatively and teaches a variety of techniques that will give your whole brain a workout and can be used in any situation where you are under pressure to produce a large number of high quality ideas quickly. They are all fun, easy to remember and instantly deliver.

Part Two will teach a simple method for running a successful and productive creative thinking session that will revolutionise the way your company comes up with ideas.

There will be an opportunity to practice and a manual to ensure you can immediately put your new skills into practice.

The session will take place in Manchester tomorrow between 9.30am-4.30pm (including lunch and coffee breaks) at 53 Portland Street.
