Social media agency, Yomego, has announced a clutch of high-profile new business wins, including Press Association Sport, Ladbrokes Italia, and Irish crisp brand, Tayto.

The agency, headquartered in Glasgow, has been appointed to undertake a variety of digital community projects. It has also just finished a webtour for the main Ladbrokes.com website, featuring animated versions of brand spokespersons Ally McCoist and Ian Wright.

The work with Press Association Sport, for bookmakers BetFred, and Ladbrokes Italia builds on a number of other projects in the gaming sector.

The project with Tayto underpins the launch of the autobiography “The Man Inside The Jacket” penned by Mr. Tayto himself, detailing his story from the tilling fields of Ireland to become the ‘Nation’s Top Potato’.

Yomego is also monitoring the brand’s Social Media Reputation score. The project will go on to embrace a full social media campaign to support the launch, including a website and a live twitter-style application that tracks Mr. Tayto on his tour of book-signing appearances and special events throughout Ireland.

Steve Richards, Managing Director, of Yomego said: “Social media is making its way up the agenda. Brands can no longer ignore, or pay lip-service to, social media audiences. But branded content needs to be engaging and delivered to consumers in an appropriate, non-intrusive way.

“Our expertise is grounded in many years of experience of digital innovation and strategy development. This latest clutch of deals helps to underline our reputation as leaders in the field and illustrates that more clients are now prepared to push boundaries when trying to cut through on social media channels.”
