2ergo launchs iPhone app for Arsenal

Manchester-based 2ergo has created the first official Apple iPhone application for Premier League Club Arsenal.

The app uses the new OS3.0 iPhone software and will be available as an initial download fof £2.99.

Co-funded by club sponsors O2, it features Arsenal Football Club news feeds, first team fixtures, league table news, a photo gallery and footage of match highlights as well as profiles, stats and biographies on all the first team players. 



“With our pioneering Smartphone applications’ team of consultants, we’re in the ideal position to create an app which offers Arsenal fans a totally new way of following their team and increase their loyalty to the club. The app will mean fans can now access match highlights, stay up to date on club news and receive player and match information via their iPhones. Supporters can now follow their team wherever they are and whenever they want making mobile the ideal medium to feed fan’s incessant passion for the game” said Chris Brassington, Group managing director of 2ergo.

The app features links to ticket purchasing information, Arsenal TV Online, the official Arsenal.com site, Junior Gunners and membership information as well as O2 and other hospitality offers. The app’s OS 3.0 features include an in app email feedback.
