Asda is set to launch its first animated flash microsite which will include online flash games to tie in with a Lazy Town promotion for its healthy food range.

The online-campaign has been devised by Gratterpalm and will see the children’s programme Lazy Town used to endorse its GreatStuff fruit and vegetable range which launched in April.

The Leeds-based advertising agency has delivered the in-store elements of the campaign, and will now go on to create an online campaign, including the use of a full flash microsite with constantly moving animation, three flash games, three static downloadable games, and an online competition.

The microsite will be promoted through the use of online banners on the store’s website, alongside LazyTown superhero collectables that can be found inside all packs of GreatStuff products.

Customers who have all six collectables will be able to send their photos through the website to access exclusive LazyTown downloads.

The site launched yesterday and will be updated with the addition of flash based games by the end of the month.
