Dance music brand Goodgreef has appointed Manchester PR agency Punk to promote its UK and international events.

Punk will manage a national and regional press office to promote Goodgreef’s events and the agency will spearhead an online and social media campaign to engage with Goodgreef’s target audience of 18-30 year old clubbers.

Its first work will promote the brand's ninth birthday celebrations at Nation in Liverpool in November.

Goodgreef's events presence includes festivals Parklife, Atomik Weekender and Islelife and it has also hosted arenas at Creamfields, Planet Love Festival and the MEN and NEC arenas.

The dance brand hosts clubnights across the UK and has a presence abroad in clubbing destinations such as Ibiza, Majorca and Holland.

Helen Conyers, Punk MD, said: "The dance music community is predominantly online so we’re using a mix of traditional, online PR and social media to engage with its target audience and raise the profile of the events.”

Earlier this month, it was announced that Punk had been appointed to launch new products for another dance music brand, Ministry of Sound.
