The parcel carrier Home Delivery Network (HDN) has appointed Citypress to handle an integrated digital and PR campaign.

The Manchester agency has been briefed to help position HDN as the partner of choice for customer-focussed online retailers. It was appointed after a competitive pitch.

Whiston-based HDN provides services for more than 140 retailers - including online stores ASOS and Tesco.com - and is targeting further growth.

Mike Snell, sales and marketing director at HDN, said: “This is an exciting and dynamic sector that is undergoing massive change.

"HDN is committed to leading the way through innovation and service excellence. Reaching the retailer community with that message and showcasing the success of our retailer partners is critical as we seek to grow our share of this expanding market."

Citypress director Martin Currie added: "Our approach will be to leverage its market leading products, capabilities, expertise and process control, using the success of its retailer clients to support the company’s proposition and bring it to life.”
