Hookson launches 'first ever' Rangemaster ads
A national press campaign has been launched by Edinburgh-based communications agency, Hookson, for Rangemaster, part of the AGA Rangemaster Group.
The campaign focuses on the fact that Rangemaster was responsible, in 1830, for creating the world’s first ever range cooker – a fact that has been rarely promoted by the manufacturer previously.
The new strategy was conceived by Hookson as it wanted to reinforce and substantiate Rangemaster’s market-leading position as Europe’s No.1 range cooker manufacturer.
Naomi Askins of Hookson said: “ With peoples reluctance to spend and the current tough, highly-competitive retail conditions, we felt that it was imperative to press home to consumers Rangemaster’s little-known heritage and market-leading credentials to act not only as a strong incentive to buy, but also to validate their choice.”
James Betts, creative director, added: “It’s always nice to have a unique product truth on which to base a campaign. Being as single-minded as possible is paramount.”
Three executions are set to run in a variety of Home, Self Build and Interior magazines, as well as weekend supplements.
