Edinburgh-based design consultancy Crombie has been appointed to design the Annual Report and Accounts for the Police Complaints Commissioner for Scotland.

The project was awarded following a creative pitch.

The PCCS is at the forefront of influencing how complaints from the public are handled by the police. The report aims to promote best practice and a culture of improvement in complaints handling by highlighting the lessons to be learned from individual complaints.

The document delivers a set of proposals and actions to audiences across Scotland. A new design approach and colour template ties in closely with the new PCCS branding.

"We have a strong track record in public sector reporting and we are delighted to add PCCS to our expanding client list,” commented Jim Ramsay, creative director.

Crombie has previously designed and produced Annual Reports for Highlands and Islands Airports Limited and the Office of the Scottish Information Commissioner.
