The Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester has appointed Driven as its brand advertising agency, following a pitch against other Manchester agencies.

Driven’s brief is to promote MOSI to a broader audience and continue to increase visitor levels at the museum over the next few years.

Graham Drury, partner at driven said: “MOSI has moved on considerably from what many people remember as the Museum of Science and Industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to help change some perceptions and demonstrate MOSI as a showcase attraction that the city can be really proud of.”

Tony Hill, head of business development at MOSI added: “The next few years will see increased investment and continued improvements to our offering at MOSI. Driven’s approach will help us maximise the effect of this. Their creative idea really captures the essence of the MOSI experience and gives us a clear focus to get behind. It will reach well beyond our above the line advertising plans.”

Driven has worked previously with MOSI on a project basis including an experiential campaign for the museum’s BODY WORLDS 4 exhibition. This saw an exhibit spring to life and visit Manchester streets and bars before controversially streaking in to the televised Great Manchester Run.

MOSI’s media account is unaffected by the review and remains with Mediacom North.
