25 agencies make Bolton Council Roster

Following the news earlier in the week that Bolton Council had formed a marketing and design roster, The Drum has learned that 25 companies have been appointed across eight lots.

The agencies appointed to each lot are as follows:

Design: Ampersand, Corporation Pop, Creative Lynx, Cube 3 Marketing, Engage Group, Forum Media, The Foundry Communications, Fudge Studios, Hemisphere Portfolio# The Rothwell Company, Shanleys, Splinter{C} and Synergy Creative Designs and Marketing.

Print: Creative Lynx, Cube 3 Marketing, Intermedia Communication Solutions, Paramount Print Group, Portfolio# The Rothwell Company, Forum Media, Qualitech, Shanleys, Blackburns of Bolton, Premier Creative Printers.

Digital Media and production - web development: Bentley Designs, Creative Lynx, Cube 3 Marketing, Forum Media, Hemisphere, Panacea, Reading Room, Splinter{C}.

Digital media and production - document conversion and other formats: Creative Lynx, Cube 3 Marketing, Forum Media, Panacea, Portfolio# The Rothwell Company.

Digital media and production - website analytical tools: Cube 3 Marketing, Forum Media, Mando Group, Portfolio# The Rothwell Company.

Digital media and production: E-marketing: Creative Lynx, Mando Group, Portfolio# The Rothwell Company.

Digital media and production - DVD / CD ROM production: Apple Video Facilities DWF, Forum Media, Mando Group, Portfolio# The Rothwell Company.

Promotional Media Services: MediaCom.

The total value of the contracts is expected to be worth £1.2m.

Linda Thomas, executive member of Corporate Resources for Bolton Council, said: “Bolton Council has a duty to engage with the community and communicate with them, telling taxpayers how their money is being spent and what services are available to them. We also have a duty to secure the best value for the taxpayer by purchasing in the most efficient way and bringing budgets together in this system.

“We believe that we have to invest in Bolton’s future and through targeted marketing campaigns aimed at business investors, have secured £120m of a projected £600m being invested in the borough over the next 10 years and we are also responsible for promoting Bolton, the place, and improving the image of the town both inside and outside the borough.

“Working with our suppliers, mostly local where possible, we will continue to reap further benefits from ensuring value for money.”
