Charity UNICEF UK has appointed Refinery to produce two catalogues having won two separate three-way competitive pitches.

Refinery will now produce UNICEF’s 68-page Seasonal Consumer Card and Gift catalogues as well as its 24-page Corporate Cards Catalogue for Christmas.

Each issue of the catalogue will feature extensive lifestyle photography which were shot and produced by the agency’s in-house studio.

Nigel Papworth, managing director of Refinery, said: “UNICEF is a global charity to protect and support children. UNICEF UK has been raising valuable funds through the sale of its greeting cards for 60 years this year and its Christmas catalogues are vital in boosting sales at this important time of year. It’s extremely important that we make the pages of the catalogue attention grabbing to stimulate sales, while still maintaining the correct tone-of-voice. It is also imperative we get the right balance between promoting the products and the charitable cause to ensure that the key message – ‘You can make a difference to children’s lives’ - is clearly communicated. But our proposals hit the right note to win us these projects.”
