A poster campaign has been created to promote a scheme which will see Blackpool Council team up with Wash Design to dress the windows of the town’s empty shops.

Blackpool has been in steady decline for many years, although it is thought to be set to ungergo a new redevelopment scheme - which has meant that a growing number of its shops have been closing or relocating to the new Hounds Hill Shopping Centre.

As this has become more noticeable, the Preston based design agency was tasked with dressing the windows of the empty shops with eye catching graphics with a ‘strong retail feel’ in a campaign known as 'Revive Retail'.

There are currently four stores involved in the campaign at present, but these will be rolled it out as needed until each store is filled once more by a retailer.
