A new identity has been created for the Wellpark Brewery of Tennent’s Lager by Stand.

The Glasgow based design agency was tasked with creating the new signage with the aim of elevating the site back to the iconic landmark that it once was in Glasgow’s east end.

The brief was to give the site a contemporary look whilst still retaining the historic heritage of the brand.

As a result, Stand created new signage for the site and designed the interior of a new reception area and meeting room, featuring a heritage area.

The agency managed the entire project, including the overall budget and a number of sub-contractors as well as liaising with the City Council to ensure full planning permission at the site. After the initial design, planning and sub-contractors had been appointed, the actual internal works were completed within an eight-week timeframe and on budget.

Sandra Mitchell, director of Tennent’s Lager, said: “The team at Tennent’s are delighted with the refurbishment of our reception area and meeting room. The result is a stylish, modern environment that still reflects the strong heritage of the brand. Plus, the new signage really brings the brewery to life- it’s extremely impactful and everyone who visits the site comments on how impressive the new signs are.”
