Baxters set to review ad account

Food manufacturer Baxters is reviewing it advertising account, currently held by The Union.

It is understood that the client has approached both agencies in Scotland and England to pitch.

The successful agency, it is thought, will work across the entire Baxters product range of soups, preserves and chutneys.

The Union has held the Baxters advertising account for over seven years.

MediaCom Scotland, which handles the media buying on the account is not thought to be affected by the review.

It was thought that London based Nexus PR handled its PR account having picked it up from Glasgow agency 3x1 last June, but on calling the agency they said this was no longer the case.
