Pure360 makes new senior appointments

Four senior appointments have been made at Brighton based email and SMS marketing company Pure360.

Pure has expanded expanded its senior team having appointed Harry Meikle as its new chairman alongside Abi Clowes who has been named marketing manager.

Meikle joins from contact data management business QAS while Clowes joins from Phones International Group and has been tasked to oversee all marketing activating for the company.

Prior to this she was marketing communications manager at technology start-up GoHello and corporate marketing manager at mobile data company WIN.

Meanwhile, Adam Bambrough, who previously ran the company’s agency division, has been promoted to the newly created role product and experience manager where he will work alongside Clowes to communicate brand messaging to clients, prospects and employees.

The role will also involve managing product development.

Finally, Christian Faires has joined the management board of as finance director from similar role at Cactus Worldwide; a global company specialising in UK and overseas language training provision.

The new appointments mean that the Pure team has grown to 45 staff.

“These strategic positions support our ambitions to be the number one ESP in Europe within three years. Abi, Christian and Harry each bring new insights to our already talented team and I’m delighted to see Pure continue to develop during 2009,” said Marc Munier, commercial director of Pure.

“This year we will consolidate our position within the UK before our next phase of growth. To do this Pure intends to grow its sales, support, technical and marketing teams to 60 staff overall by next January.”
