Vimto fruits get seriously mixed up on radio

Vimto has launched a series of radio ads as part of its 'seriously mixed up fruit' campaign created by Driven. Listen to them here.

The radio adverts feature the three talking fruit characters - a raspberry, grape and blackcurrant - who were determined to be squashed into Vimto in the brand's 'Waltzer' TV ad last month.

This time we hear them as they try to arrange to jump out of a plane without parachutes, get run over by a steamroller and face a punch from a heavyweight boxer.

Driven partner Chris Lear said: “The ads demonstrate the lengths these mixed up characters will go to in order to get what they want.

"The campaign will build frequency of the 'seriously mixed up fruit' message, hopefully raising a smile or two along the way.”

The campaign is running nationally this month and August. Media was handled by mediaedge:cia and radio production by 422.
