Skin care brand Clarins has launch new careers website, designed and developed Leicester-based Standout.

The new site allows people to find roles relevant to them, in the area that they’d like to work in. They can then apply online and if they’d prefer to, save the application mid-way and come back to it.

The job roles are driven through Clarins existing recruitment system.

The bespoke application management system allows the HR team to see new applicants, contact them and drive them through the recruitment process, from telephone interviews to face to face interviews and job offers.

Candidates can be flagged up and communication on these people is easily accessed and shared by everyone in the recruitment team, regardless of where people are based in the country.

Candidates can also apply to the company on a speculative basis, if they don’t immediately see a role quite right for them, meaning that quite often a role can be filled without even having to advertise it.

Kerry Turnbull, Clarins HR Manager states “The site has provided us with the volume of external candidates necessary to enable the selection of high quality competent employees that match the requirements of the role, whilst proving a successful succession planning tool for internal candidates to access up to date vacancy information UK wide.”
