Dave Trott to chair Scottish Ad Awards judging panel

Dave Trott, creative director of London agency CST is to be chairman of this year’s Scottish Advertising Awards judging panel. 


Trott was a writer at BMP. After 10 years he became deputy creative director and left to start his own agency, the much celebrated GGT. Between 1980 and 1990 GGT was very successful. It was voted most Creative Agency in the World, by Ad Age magazine and became a publicly quoted company.

In 1990 he left GGT to start Bainsfair Sharkey Trott. This was not a marriage made in heaven and he left in 1993. In 1994 he joined forces with Gordon Smith and Murray Chick to start a new agency.

The Awards are now open for clients and agencies to enter with the view of promoting the Scottish advertising industry. 
Deadline for entries is on Friday 24 July.
