The University of Salford has appointed Fudge to design and built a new website to highlight its involvement with MediaCity.

The University is to build a new Higher Education centre at the site in Salford Quays which will focus on employement-led and postgraduate learning and research collaboration alongside undergraduate courses.

Following its appointment, the agency will work with the University to develop a substantial, specialist area linked to the main University website which will showcase the University’s strengths, present the facilities available, highlight the range of learning opportunities and communicate the range of partnership opportunities created as a result of the project.

Two creative and technology students are being sought to contribute to the content and infrastructure of the site.

Phil Jeffs, technology director at Fudge, said: “The project presents many challenges from both a technical and user experience point of view. We’re lucky to be working with a client that understands technology and is willing to push the boundaries.”
