The Pallasades Shopping Centre in Birmingham has appointed Golley Slater to manage its regional PR.

Golley Slater has been briefed to create ideas which will encourage recession-weathered shoppers to start spending responsibly.

Jonathan Cheetham, general manager at The Pallasades, said: "Our PR programme is designed to help keep shoppers abreast of current news and promotions at The Pallasades and we are excited to start working with Golley Slater to help bring to life our forthcoming campaigns.

"The next few years will prove to be an exciting time for the development of the shopping centre and we are looking to maximise this opportunity with Golley Slater’s support.”

The Pallasades has an average footfall of more than 420,000 people per week. Situated above New Street Station, it houses a range of retailers from fashion shops to health and beauty, financial services and food outlets.
