Future Publishing tops Bristol Media Top 100 List

Bristol Media, the creative industry network for the south west city has announced the top creative companies based there.

Magazine, event and website company Future Publishing came top of the list which aimed to be a definitive guide to the South West’s major players demonstrates the strength and success of the creative community across the region.

The Bath based company has a turnover of £112,000,000, 20 percent of which comes from the South West and 1010 members of staff.

Mission Group advertising company Bray Leino came second with Plymouth based broadcaster Two Four reaching third position. Oscar winning animation company Aadrman finished fourth.

Mike Bennett, chief executive of Bristol Media, explained: “Our top 100 indicates that despite the current economic climate, the South West creative industry is not only surviving but thriving. There’s a consensus in the region that the next year is going to be a good one for our industry and projections are ones of growth not decline.

“Our businesses deliver work on a local, national and international stage and we see our position in the South West as a key advantage. It’s a great place to live and work so attracts some of the best creative talent our country has to offer.”
