Children’s BBC character Nev the Bear has been given his own website courtesy of MadebyPi.

The agency has created Nevaland feating the character from TV series Smile which brings back some of the more popular games originally created for the TV show, as well as introducing new content.

The site also allows fans to watch clips, check out the new gallery and find out some of Nev’s secrets.

Amy Williams, content producer at CBBC, commented: “The site offers both new and existing fans a fun, interactive experience with the well known children’s character. MadeByPi has really hit the brief by capturing the essence of Nev’s personality in a site that’s engaging and keeps our fans interested as they navigate their way around Nev’s new home.”

Chris Hemingway, creative director at MadeByPi said: “Kids are early adopters of new technologies and enjoy interactive, educational games with their favourite characters. The site has been built based on our existing knowledge of how CBBC’s fans interact with Nev. The new interactive platform has lots of animation and sound effects, offering them an even more enjoyable experience.”
