Coolpink has been appointed by Ireland’s first chain of department stores, Menarys, to handle its online offering.

Menarys is a long-established department store trading in 17 locations throughout Ireland.

The store tasked Coolpink with the complete re-design and development of their site to include a fully bespoke ecommerce site that will be integrated with its current in-store epos system. Coolpink will devise a digital marketing strategy to include Email Marketing and POS.

Barry Rollins, marketing manager for Menarys said “We have chosen Coolpink due to the great work they have done for other organisations within the retail sector such as DFS and Bensons for Beds. We are delighted to be working with the Coolpink team and look forward to the launch of our new e-commerce site”

Coolpink has also been hired by public sector organisation, City YMCA to redesign and develop its website following a review of the body's communication strategy.

City YMCA is a charity that specifically works with young people aged between 16 and 29.

Through a number of on-going projects, campaigns and initiatives, specifically within the east of London, City YMCA aims to 'enable young people to dream' and build an independent future. Coolpink has been tasked to ensure that the new website reflects this proposition.

The project includes a full site re-design with youthful, vibrant online creative for a brand identity and a bespoke content management system. The website will be built to ensure that it reaches the target audience, encourages interest and enquiry and assists funding generation.

Meanwhile, the agency has appointed account director Andrew Ashley, to head up its business development team in Leeds, while Claire Robinson joins the team as marketing manager, responsible for all corporate PR and marketing activities.

Ashley has worked for some of the UK’s leading agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann Erickson, JWT and Eunite. Robinson joins Coolpink from Reebok, where she worked as Trade Marketing Manager in their European Marketing Division.
