A series of 5” and 10” spots for DFS’ sponsorship of ITV1 programme All Star Mr and Mrs has been created by Uber.

The idents show everyday couples buying sofas in DFS stores and their differences of opinion, joking about each other’s choices, and knowledge of each other’s taste emulates the essence of the game show itself.

Greg Clark, managing director of Uber wrote and directed the spots while the production was carried out by Ink Films with all post production being done at VTR North.

Greg Clark said of the finished idents : “We turned them round from concept to air date in two weeks which was crazy with edits ending at 8.30am! They were great fun to make though and I hope that comes across when they go on air.”

The idents will run on ITV1 at 6.20pm every Saturday for the next seven weeks.
