International sensor manufacturer SICK has appointed IAS b2b Public Relations to reposition its broad product offering to more closely face its UK customer markets.

The agency has already entered into an in-depth market discovery phase ahead of the campaign, focusing initially on delivering trade media relations to segmented vertical sectors.

The media relations programme will target vertical engineering and horizontal manufacturing application audiences in the UK, including the food, packaging and logistics sectors.

Rob Morrice, managing director of IAS b2b explained: “SICK is a company that wants to do things the right way and not just pay lip-service to brand strategy and marketing. We are helping the company develop a clear UK brand positioning to deliver its vision and achieve its business strategy in the UK market.”
