Hatch to handle PR and sponsorship for Weekend@Lastevent

Weekend@Last, the two day open air live music event has appointed Hatch Communications to deliver its PR and sponsorship campaign.

The event will support registered charity Safe@Last which works with young people at risk of running away from home and will take place on 11 and 12 July.

The weekend event is expected to draw over 20,000 concert-goers to see acts including Scouting For Girls and The Saturdays and will be held in the grounds of stately homs, Sandbeck Park in South Yorkshire.

Jason Madeley, managing director said: “Our strategy will focus on building excitement both on and offline, attracting sponsors and ensuring the charity builds a positive profile from the event. The team’s goal is to ultimately drive ticket sales, as well as managing the weekend’s event press office function. We believe in SAFE@LAST and what they stand for and are looking forward to working on the amazing event.”
