Yorkshire-based, The Small Agency has landed a six-figure account with Baco Consumer Products Ltd.

The agency is to deliver a strategic marketing communications programme across the full range of its products, including the market leader of aluminium foil, BacoFoil.

The Small Agency has been working on the Baco brand since January and from 1 April has taken over the brief for the company’s hero brand BacoFoil®.

The small Agency has been tasked to inject “some emotional depth” to the functional product portfolio and to place the brand at the heart of consumers’ homes.

Channels of communications handled by The small Agency will include PR, digital and above-the-line activity. Sales promotion activity will be handled jointly by The small Agency and Campaign Marketing.

On the appointment, marketing manager for Baco consumer products, Casper Gorniok commented: “Marketing a premium brand during the worst recession the country’s faced in 70 years is, undoubtedly, a challenge and I wanted an agency with a proven track record in the sector – which The small Agency has demonstrated with its work with Pyrex.”

Stuart Grainger, managing director of The small Agency added: “We are delighted to be working with the high-profile brand and are confident we can deliver an invigorating, engaging and relevant campaign strategy across different mediums.

"BacoFoil has a solid reputation for its strength, thickness and its unique BacoFoil Non-Stick range, which consumers have a great awareness of. Our task, among others, is to educate the benefits of these USPs and create those emotional ties to push the brand off the shelf and into consumers’ trolleys.”
