Construction Now! A new website created for the construction industry and owned by Dundee based E-News Now Ltd has been developed by Avian.

The site was recently unveiled at the Ecobuild exhibition in London and allowed hundreds of visitors to signed up for its regional newsletter.

Keiran Findlay, newly appointed editor of Construction Now! said: “We have had a great reaction to the new portal. The new, easy-to-use content management system designed by Avian has been a great boon for our journalists who produce eight daily regional newsletters going out to over 21,000 subscribers.”

He added, “New functionality was required for the portal and we found the Avian team very helpful in working through the changes with us.”

Findlay joined Construction Now! as a reporter two years ago and has since grown the publication’s titles in the north of England.

He explained: “Ironically, the recession in the construction industry has had a positive impact on Construction Now! Circulation has shot up, with over 7000 new subscribers signing up for the free daily service in the last year, taking Construction Now! subscriber figures to over 21,000, with an estimated 45,000 readers.”

Avian digital group director Frazer Blyth, said, “We already have several construction sector clients and it was rewarding to work with the Construction Now! team. More and more clients, see a newsletter system as an integral part of their website.”
