A new campaign to promote Coatbridge College is set to roll out, created by Love Design.

The Glasgow based design agency have created a multi-media campaign featuring six students from differing courses to represent the ‘Faces of Coatbridge College’.

The students will be featured in different media as part of the College’s 2009 campaign when it rolls out before summer.

Imran and Laura will appear on billboards throughout the Airdrie and Coatbridge area, while Kate will appear on bus shelter posters. Edward and Stephanie will appear on buses and Emily will be featured in high school yearbooks.

The campaign will be used mostly in outdoor media platforms including 48 sheets and 96 sheets, 6 sheets and bus streetliners, headliners and rears. The concept will also be used in any high school year books that the College advertises in and any printed media. The internal publications will also reflect the new look.

The course guide has already been released to ties in with the College Information Day on 26 March. The outdoor advertising will commence with our bus media at the beginning of April and will continue throughout the summer until August when the new semester starts at the College.

Love Design has previously worked with Coatbridge College on creating annual reports, an evening class guide and the design of its course guide and advertising campaign this year.

John Doyle, Principal at Coatbridge College, said: ‘Our new look course guide and advertising campaign are the result of consultation with our students to discover what they want to see. They asked for real people with encouraging stories so that’s what we’ve given them.
