Studio North has secured the contract to deliver customer communications and service branding to the Cumbria Partnership Foundation NHS Trust.

The Manchester-based design consultancy will initially deliver a comprehensive strategy and collateral review, before developing and introducing a new brand.

Studio North won the brief following a "competitive and robust selection process with the overall aim of marketing the trust's brand and services both locally and nationally".

Nick Wright, partner and creative director of Studio North, said: "This is a challenging brief that brings with it a huge opportunity to really make an impact in terms of meeting corporate and commercial objectives and particularly to drive awareness of the trust's brand and the wide range of valuable mental health services it offers."

The trust, which will benefit from a £5m investment into in-patient services this year, delivers a wide range of services and a target has been set to increase its membership by 17 percent.

The win for Studio North follows its recent appointments by the Chester and Conventry Primary Care Trusts to develop marketing communications for their sexual health campaigns.
