Pub Operator the Baa Bar Group has tasked Black and Ginger with the redesign of its Tabac Café based in Liverpool.

The new site was designed as the café was undergoing an in-store transformation which made ensuring that the look of the site represented that of the new interior a difficult process for the agency.

Following some research into the new look and approach for Tabac the agency had an idea of what the site needed to be online.

The café was established in 1974 and has an esteemed history for its music it was decided that the site would look to encapsulate the complete Liverpool/cool experience in one place.

By using flash interactive elements the site looks to convey the feel of the venue and combine a visually quirky and fun style to deliver a true representation of Tabac through the ages as well as placing the site firmly in the 21st Century.
