Manchester-based agency Love has made three staff redundant as part of a review of its structure.

The redundancies come from the agency's new business, production and copywriting departments.

In a statement, the agency said: "It has been necessary to review the internal team structure at Love and it is with regret that we have had to make a very small number of positions redundant.

“These unfortunate measures have been taken in order to keep Love fit and healthy so we can continue to provide transformational creative work for all our clients including Sony Playstation, MBNA, Dr. Martens and the BBC.”

A spokesperson for Love, which has about 30 staff at its central Manchester office, told The Drum that the redundancies were not a sign of a change in direction for the agency which first made its name as a design consultancy but has pushed its digital and advertising credentials in recent years.
