Public relations consultancy Mason Williams has won a four-way pitch for the Mansion Group account.

The Mansion Group, a Manchester-based property company specialising in luxury rental student accommodation, is bucking the downward property trend and generating strong profits for investors at key university cities throughout the UK.

The company acquires suitable existing blocks near city centres and meticulously renovates them to a high standard. The emphasis is on providing a secure, friendly student community. Each Mansion Group site, with fob and key entry systems and CCTV, has its own hospitality team and wardens on hand for advice on all aspects of student life.

The company advises a student accommodation investment fund – launched on the Guernsey Stock Exchange late last year – that’s grown by 21% in the last four months.

Mansion Group chairman Paul Wildes said: ”This wasn’t a job for beginners. We were looking for a PR company with a highly experienced team that could get some serious business messages across, and we have found that in Mason Williams.”

Mason Williams MD Rita Rowe said: “We are delighted to be working with Mansion Group. They have some great stories to tell and in these times, it’s fantastic to get positive business news out there on their behalf. Winning this account underlines Mason Williams’ growing strength in financial and corporate PR.”

The agency team of five has been tasked with delivering a campaign that raises the Group’s profile; engages with independent financial advisers and investors, and targets students and their parents across the UK. The budget for communications and brand building will be in excess of £200k.

Mansion Group is forecasting growth in the next financial year, with turnover rising to more than £100m.
