PR consultancy Flannel has been appointed by email and SMS marketing firm Pure for the second time to handle communications about its international expansion plans.

Brighton-based Flannel previously worked with Pure, which is also based in the city, from 2006 to 2008.

Pure recently appointed a new MD, Marc Munier, and its clients include Emap, the FT and Innocent drinks.

Anne Collet, marketing manager at Pure, said Flannel's "familiarity with Pure is a great advantage".

Claire Armitt, director of Flannel, added: "Pure is focusing on international expansion this year and given our previous experience we are perfectly placed to support the company’s PR needs as it continues to grow."
