Jonathan Rigby, a former director at Love, has joined interactive gaming company NetPlay TV as its brand director.

Rigby (pictured) will oversee the creative output and handle brand development across the NetPlay portfolio which includes SuperCasino.com, Bingos.com and EuroTelemillions.com.

Last year The Drum revealed that Rigby had announced he was leaving Manchester-based Love to head up new spin-off agency Two Days.

But the new firm's launch was shelved due to "bad timing" before the Two Days idea was eventually canned.

He said of his new role: "NetPlay TV is right at the forefront of the interactive gaming experience and advances in technology are helping us to realise exciting developments across online, mobile and TV platforms.

"I'm delighted to be involved in something so innovative and future-facing."

Martin Higginson, CEO of NetPlay TV, said Rigby's appointment was a sign of the firm's commitment to "developing our services into solid sustainable brands, or as we prefer to call them 'lovemarks'."

Prior to joining Love as a strategy partner, Rigby worked for London advertising agencies WCRS, AMV, BBDO and Lowe.

His appointment follows an exclusive distribution deal struck up between NetPlay and Channel 5 for the broadcaster to televise its EuroTeleMillions draws from next week.
