Standard Life has agreed a deal with ITV to sponsor four travel series, negotiated by MediaCom Edinburgh and SponsorCom.

The deal will begin with the sponsorship of Billy Connolly’s ‘Journey to the Edge of the World’ and will include other celebrities such as Stephen Tompkinson, Martin Clunes and Trevor McDonald.

The integrated campaign, created by VCCP and Meteorite will promote Standard Life’s Active Money SIPP product which uses the line ‘People don’t grow old like they used to, why should your money?’

The campaign will also run in colour magazine press, large format roadside outdoor, underground XTP’s and online and is targeted to over-44s and will raise awareness of the benefits of active pension planning to maintain an enjoyable lifestyle beyond retirement.
