Amaze managing partner Nick Bradshaw has hinted that the group could make more acquisitions in the north west as its ambitious expansion plans continue.

Politics International, the agency’s London-based public affairs and political consultancy arm, has already opened a Manchester office in recent weeks.

And Bradshaw has not ruled out the possibility of more potential acquisitions and openings in the region.

He told The Drum: “Amaze is open to new acquisition of businesses if they are the right match for the company. We are not actively searching to acquire new businesses but we’re always on the look out for a company that would complement our current digital and marketing offering and fits in with our ambition to become a leading pan-European agency.”

Meanwhile Simon Broadbent, creative director of Connectpoint, now part of the Amaze-umbrella, is no longer working for the agency on a full-time basis.

Amaze confirmed that the creative, affectionately known as ‘Bertie’ by peers, is now working in a freelance capacity with the Manchester agency.

“Simon Broadbent continues to work for Amaze within a freelance capacity,” Bradshaw confirmed.
