Tourism body Visit Wales is to hold a pitch for its marketing account, currently held by Wieden & Kennedy and Partners Andrew Aldridge.

The agencies appointed to the £7.5million account will be tasked to work on brand strategy and identity, brand interpretation and campaign activity across television, online and print while direct marketing will include the use of social media, e-crm management and data planning.

The Ryder Cup being held in Wales in 2010 is expected to be a focal point of the next marketing campaigns.

Star Com handles the media planning and buying for the marketing.
