Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts has appointed Teviot to create its rebrand to Radisson Blu.

The Edinburgh based brand specialists has work with Radisson SAS for a number of years and will see the company aim to becoming on of the fastest growing, upscale hotel brands in the world.

The rebrand was designed by Teviot to promote the brands specific heritage and also be impactful.

Gordon McKinnon, executive vice president of brands at the Rezidor Hotel Group, explained: “Blu started life as the project’s working title. But it soon became apparent that it was actually the most natural of choices for the name change. It’s simple, it’s short, it’s relevant and it’s been applied in a way that adds a certain modernity to the identity without taking it too far”.

Jane McDowall, managing director of Teviot, continued: “Having worked with the Rezidor Hotel Group for many years, it was a natural fit for us to be a part of the Radisson brand evolution. With Radisson Blu we have created a stylish and modern identity that communicates the values, ambition and service of one of the world’s most dynamic hotel brands”.
