Black and Ginger has created a brand identity for Cheshire based luxury spa Rouge et Noir.

The spa is owned by Jude Cisse, wife of Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse, who tasked the agency with creating a flexible identity that would work on all key mediums and represent the spa’s luxurious offering to aim at its target market.

The Liverpool based agency’s research let it to looking at high-end fashion brands and the rules they adhere to. The agency adopted two colours to form the logo. By keeping the job to two colours it was also able to save money on print and put extra budget into finishing.

For the Rouge et Noir brochure it opted for a tumble fold landscape document (one side for men and the other for women) printed on a uncoated stock. To finish this off it then commissioned finishing firm IST to hot foil the logo on both sides.

The final brand designs were carried through all media including signage, brochures, stationary and website.
