Creative agency Wash Design has created a new identity for Bolton Community College, as the institute steps up development plans.

Preston-based Wash was commissioned to firstly create a new logo that "celebrates the provision of learning resources to the college's four target markets - school leavers, adults, community groups and businesses - which currently benefit from its services."

The rebrand comes as the college pushes ahead with plans to build a multi-million pound town centre campus.

Bolton Community College's marketing and communications manager, Steve Murphy, said: "Wash Design successfully pitched for a project to rebrand Bolton Community College. It did so by providing an innovative solution to how the college could promote its four distinct target markets through one brand."

Wash will work with the college on further design projects throughout the year, including its Bolwebsite, prospectus and other materials.
