Bristol based production company Green Lit is to create a series of films for Science City Bristol.

The films will tell a modern-day story of the city including its building on the legacy of Brunel, Concorde and others, and bringing to the forefront recent achievements that already do or will soon affect the way we all live our lives.

Once complete, the films will be used by Science City Bristol to raise public awareness of the local achievements in science and technology, and thereby local pride. They will also be used to raise professional visitor awareness of the local achievements in science and technology and increase the national/international profile of local achievements and raise government awareness of local achievements.

Sarah-Jane Chilcott, Science City Bristol’s programme manager said “I’m a strong believer in the links between science, art and culture – indeed, Bristol’s heritage, built on the work of Brunel and others, helps define our culture.”

Pete Levy, Green Lit’s MD, explained: “We’ll be working closely with Science City Bristol to help achieve these ambitions by utilising some of the amazing visuals and facts to create a series of films which both engage and inform the audience.”
