JAMpr has picked up the communications account with Manchester based gifting company tree2mydoor.com.

The company home-delivers sustainable tree saplings and wildflower seeds as an alternative to standard cut flowers, and is set to embark on a nationwide campaign with the aid of the agency to boost its profile among key audiences, both online and in the press.

The programme will be ready for the key date of Valentine’s Day as it looks to encourage consumers to send flowers and chocolate to their loved ones.

Part of the activity will include an online poetry competition offering vouchers to the site as prizes.

The sustained campaign will run throughout the year to remind consumers of the site and its gifts, with key periods around Mother’s and Father’s Day, Easter and Christmas.

The PR programme will see the agency implement a mixture of strategies targeting websites, digital and social media alongside offline activities, including a press office function and PR stunts aimed at capturing the public’s imagination.

Jaime Markey, MD of JAMpr, said: “This is an exciting start to 2009. Tree2mydoor.com is an incredible concept and we are proud to be associated with such a sustainable brand. The win also shows that companies are still willing to invest in quality PR, despite the country’s economic climate, and it highlights the success of our offering. We are excited to demonstrate our creativity as well as our strategic approach with Tree2mydoor.com, as we do with all our clients, and we are looking forward to a busy and successful year.”
