Isle of Wight to be promoted by Lawton in 2009

Following a five-way pitch, the Isle of Wight Tourism board has appointed Lawton to work on a profile raising campaign for 2009.

The agency has been tasked with raising the island’s profile and developing its positioning as ‘an inspirational holiday destination’ next year.

In particular the campaign will look to engage with the island’s target audience of families, couples and over-50’s.

With a strong focus on online as well as outdoor and press the campaign will be supplemented with a brochure response campaign, all of which will begin rolling out in January.
