TMP creates recruitment campaign for gas giant
One of the companies developed following the privatisation of the national gas distribution network, Scotia Gas Networks operates the gas networks in Scotland and the South of England.
With a programme of work to maintain, upgrade and replace the majority of their 46,000-mile network, the company has more than 24 years worth of work on the books.
TMP Scotland was tasked with attracting engineering graduates into the business.
Engineers (at any level) have been in short supply across the UK and beyond, so competition is fierce. TMP also faced difficulty because many of its competitors in the utilities sector are well-known consumer brands – like Scottish Power or E.on.
As such, TMP sought to give SGN a visible personality through a poster campaign. It uses the huge amount of work the firm has planned as it’s main premise – engaging with the target market to attract the people SGN need.
