Preston-based agency Motionlab has won the contract to build the new GOLA website. The website will be a brand building project with an e-commerce area to sell the GOLA Classics and Sport product lines.

Simon Iredale, chairman and creative director of Motionlab said: "Winning the GOLA account was a great day for Motionlab; we presented a very strong creative and were tasked with showing our ability to technically integrate into the GOLA in-house stock systems. GOLA is a great product with a great heritage, to be part of their move into the e-commerce arena is a fabulous opportunity."

Donna Hill, marketing manager for Jacobson Group, added: "The team at Motionlab is a breath of fresh air in the complex digital world; they’re straight talking and grasped the Gola brief with enthusiasm and great passion. We’re looking forward to working with the team and creating something fantastic for the Gola brand."

The new GOLA site will be launching early March 09.

Motionlab has also just won the contract for the new online build for the CSL Furniture e-Commerce site, including developing a ground breaking backend system for the client to build pages with no requirement of any technical knowledge.

Consequently the agency has just employed four new team members taking numbers up to 17, also attracting Jonathan Ward, the production director at KMP, to help streamline the production workflow.
