AG Barr has launched new label designs for its water brand Strathmore Spring, which it hopes will represent the brand’s strengths of ‘purity, contemporary Scottishness and quality’.

The new labels, created by London design agency Air Design look to combine Strathmore’s premium brand image with an improved on shelf impact alongside better in depot visibility in the wholesale sector.

The new design of the labels focuses on projecting a more contemporary Scottish look, placing Glamis Castle at the core of the design, as its location at the hear of the Vale of Strathmore is the source for the water.

The pack label will also feature the brand’s support for the youth charity The Prince’s Trust.

Adrian Troy Barr’s Head of Marketing said: “Strathmore spring water is an established Scottish brand from a trusted and sustainable water source which is performing well in the category. Strathmore spring water is created by nature in a 50 year filtration process through sandstone where it is drawn by us from an aquifer deep underground. We know that consumers in the UK like the purity and clarity of Scottish water and particularly the Strathmore brand. This fantastic new redesign will effectively communicate these brand attributes and help us to continue to grow the brand across the market.”

As part of Barr’s partnership with The Princes Trust the brand’s new label design will carry The Trust’s logo to help raise awareness of their work and consumers will be directed to the donation page of The Princes Trust website.
